LayerX is seeking Software Engineers to own the architecture of external APIs and customer platforms for their Bakuraku multi-product series. This role is crucial for integrating their services with external systems and internal platforms, aiming to improve overall productivity and user experience.
Must-haves
- Web application development and operation experience
- API and DB design experience as a backend engineer for commercial services of a certain scale
- Experience leading technology selection for entire services or features
- Experience leading development by involving other teams and multiple stakeholders
Nice-to-haves
- Experience designing and operating externally facing APIs for business SaaS
- Experience with SaaS integration, iPaaS, or ETL (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Workato, Zapier)
- Experience designing entitlements, contracts, and billing for multi-tenant SaaS
- Knowledge of authentication/authorization (OAuth 2.0/OIDC/SAML)
- Development experience with TypeScript/Node.js
- Experience developing services for enterprise clients
