As a Printing System Lead Engineer, you will drive architectural improvements, refactoring, and partial replacements for a mission-critical production system supporting billions of annual shipments. You will work within the Printing Production System Development team, responsible for the entire development lifecycle from requirements definition to operation, in close collaboration with factory staff.
Must-haves
- Experience in designing and promoting refactoring and partial replacements based on the overall architecture and dependencies of production systems.
- Experience in making significant technical decisions with wide-ranging impact.
- Experience across the full development cycle: requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, and operation (Agile).
- Experience developing data integration infrastructure with on-premise environments.
- Willingness to travel to factories in Kagoshima and Kumamoto approximately once every three months.
