ANDPAD is seeking a Senior Engineer/Manager candidate to lead business growth and organizational development in the construction industry. The company aims to transform the industry by supporting on-site DX and is expanding its services to enterprise clients, overseas markets, and AI-driven solutions. This role will focus on strengthening the development organization to support future growth.
Must-haves
- Experience in organizational and technical management of an engineering organization (50+ people) (e.g., Engineering Manager, Department Head, VPoE, CTO).
- Experience managing software development organizations with multiple parallel teams.
- Experience explaining technical roadmaps and strategies to management and business stakeholders and achieving consensus.
- Experience in expanding development organizations and building culture through recruitment activities.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience leading a development organization's expansion phase as CTO or VPoE.
- Experience in development management for 'compound startups' launching multiple products in parallel or for vertical SaaS.
- Experience in improving development processes and productivity using cutting-edge tools, including Generative AI.
- Experience in system renewal or re-architecture in industries requiring complex domain knowledge (e.g., legacy industries).
Work style
Hybrid/Remote. Location: Tokyo, Japan. Full remote is negotiable. Flexible working hours with core time (11:00-15:00).

Salary: JPY 10,000,000 - 30,000,000 per year. Bonus twice a year. Probation period: 3 months.
