Must-haves
- Basic understanding of computer science (data structures, computational complexity, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience developing and operating web backend systems or server-side processes (batch processing, etc.)
- Development experience using relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Team development experience using version control systems (Git, etc.) and ticket management systems
Nice-to-haves
- Backend system development experience using statically typed languages such as Rust, Go, or Kotlin
- Experience using DWH products such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or Redshift
- Experience designing and modeling business logic by deeply understanding a specific domain
