Photosynth is seeking a Product Manager/Project Manager to lead the development of their Akerun smart lock application. This role involves making key decisions on what to build and how to build it, contributing to the company's mission of addressing labor shortages with IoT x SaaS solutions.
Must-haves
- 3+ years of experience as a PdM or PjM for IT products (Web/App), including requirements definition, specification creation, and progress management.
- Experience collaborating smoothly with engineers, with a technical understanding to discuss APIs, BLE constraints, and app architecture.
- Demonstrated 'execution power' to drive projects forward hands-on, even in a lean team.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in smartphone app development (iOS/Android) or PM roles, including knowledge of mobile guidelines and store submission processes.
- Experience introducing and operating data analysis tools (e.g., Firebase, Amplitude, Mixpanel) for log design and data extraction using SQL.
- Experience in development management within lean environments (e.g., startups), including organizing and systematizing chaotic situations.
- Ability to negotiate priorities with data and logic, saying 'NO' to business requests when necessary to protect engineering resources.
- Ability to embrace change and create systems, viewing the current unestablished environment as an opportunity.
- Ability to drive initiatives across departments and products (Web, FW, CS, etc.).
