As an SRE Engineering Manager at Chatwork, you will lead the SRE team to improve system reliability and maximize team performance. This role involves people management, technical strategy development, and driving organizational growth for a business communication platform used by over 1 million companies.
Must-haves
- 3+ years of engineering management experience (people management, evaluations, etc.)
- Experience in hiring, developing, and resolving organizational issues for engineers
- Experience designing, building, and operating systems in public cloud environments like AWS
- Experience operating infrastructure using Kubernetes or deep knowledge of container technologies
- Understanding and experience promoting SRE practices (SLI/SLO, toil reduction, postmortems, etc.)
- Ability to integrate AI into editors/IDEs for code completion/generation and understand generative AI basics to improve prompts
Nice-to-haves
- Experience managing development and operations for SaaS products with large traffic
- Experience designing, migrating, and operating microservice architectures
- Experience managing a newly established or rapidly growing engineering organization
- Backend development experience using any programming language
- Experience designing and operating monitoring systems and data analysis platforms for observability
