We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Chatwork team. You will be responsible for the development and operation of Chatwork, a business chat tool handling large volumes of traffic with low latency and high reliability. This role involves feature development, stable operation of large-scale systems, and addressing technical debt.
Must-haves
- Experience integrating AI into editors/IDEs for code completion and generation
- Understanding of generative AI and prompt improvement
- Team lead or technical lead experience
- Communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, team members, and related departments
- Web service development experience
- Knowledge of object-oriented development and software testing
- Experience in functional additions and improvements while addressing technical debt in existing services
- Experience utilizing AI agents in development and prompt knowledge
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in splitting monolithic applications
- Experience designing, developing, and operating distributed systems like microservices
- Knowledge and experience with design patterns like Domain-Driven Design and Clean Architecture
- Experience developing, maintaining, and operating high-traffic services
- Experience designing, developing, and operating using public cloud services like AWS or GCP
- Experience developing and operating applications on Kubernetes
- Experience building, operating, and improving CI/CD pipelines
- Experience contributing to the community through tech talks or OSS projects
