J-Tech Lab's rent appraisal service automatically collects and provides real-time, accurate listing data. We are entering a phase of increasing adoption as a subscription service. Our CEO, Kaji, has about 10 years of experience in providing operational support and consulting for real estate management companies. The industry connections and on-site knowledge built during this time have been the driving force behind our continuous collaborations with major industry players since our founding. Since our inception, we have offered sales support services such as creating property owner lists and rent appraisals, and have already been used by over 100 real estate companies. In the past year alone, we have advanced collaborations with key industry players, including being featured in JPM (Japan Property Management Association), API integration with GMO Rental DX Owner App, business partnership with WHERE (a startup originating from JAXA), and business partnership with House Do Housing Sales. We are now aiming to achieve 300 companies by the end of the year and capture industry share within 3 years. While sales and industry collaborations have been steadily progressing, our product development capabilities—technical judgment and implementation drive—have not kept pace with business growth. With a small team of one full-time engineer and one contractor, the shortage of core personnel to handle this is currently our biggest management challenge. This position will primarily be responsible for feature development of the rent appraisal service and implementation of the data infrastructure. ■Job Responsibilities You will be responsible for implementing two products: the rent appraisal service (Laravel / PHP) and data infrastructure development (Python). While utilizing Claude Code (MAX plan), you will focus on implementing features, improvements, and enhancing appraisal accuracy. The main theme at this stage is "continuous improvement of appraisal accuracy," and you will be involved in implementing accuracy improvements from the data infrastructure to the product side. Upon joining, you will start with modifying existing features and small backend implementations, gradually expanding your scope of responsibility while receiving reviews. The following is a current image of the role; the scope and order of tasks will be adjusted based on your experience and aptitude. ・Feature development and appraisal accuracy improvement for the rent appraisal service (refining appraisal logic, strengthening visualization of supporting data, UI/UX improvements, etc.) ・Data infrastructure development, handling new information sources, and improving normalization logic (address, layout, price, etc.) ・Bug fixes and improvements for existing features ・Implementation based on customer feedback from sales and customer success teams
