Seeking an experienced System Engineer to solve client challenges through system development, modification, implementation, and operational improvements. This role offers the opportunity to expand into upstream responsibilities like requirements gathering, client interaction, and project management, building upon practical development and maintenance experience.
Must-haves
- Experience in system development, modification, implementation, and maintenance/operation
- Desire to work in upstream roles with close client interaction
- Willingness to work onsite up to 2 days per week
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in SES (System Engineering Service) industry
- Experience with COBOL or other legacy languages, looking to expand into new languages/domains
- Experience in requirements gathering, issue clarification, and specification adjustments with clients
- Experience in supporting project progress, clarifying issues, and coordinating with stakeholders
- Experience in collaborating with, reviewing, and mentoring junior members
