As an Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for bringing and Jam's experiential art installations to life in physical spaces. This role involves translating concepts into functional systems using a combination of visuals, sound, light, sensors, PCs, and equipment, from prototype testing to on-site installation and support.
Must-haves
- Experience in prototyping, verifying functionality, and ensuring system stability.
- Ability to coordinate with Directors and Spatial Object Designers for equipment integration and adjustments.
- Experience in on-site setup, wiring, power distribution, and operational adjustments.
- Capability to build support systems for troubleshooting and recovery during live operation.
- Experience in combining programming, code creation, visuals, sound, light, sensors, PCs, and equipment.
Nice-to-haves
- Propose technical expressions and interactions that enhance the user experience.
- Contribute to building the "framework" for technical implementation and system configuration in the Experience Art domain.
- Experience in managing external technical partners (engineers, equipment companies, construction companies).
