Lead the evolution of SmartHR's technical foundation as a cross-product architect. You will address technical silos and system-wide challenges arising from the company's multi-product strategy, aiming to improve overall product growth and reliability.
Must-haves
- Experience in web application development and architectural design for large-scale products.
- Hands-on experience in design and implementation, not just reviews or standardization.
- Experience leading cross-team/cross-product technical initiatives from design to production.
- Experience translating technical debt and quality issues into business contexts and aligning stakeholders.
- Experience leading complex technical decisions with teams outside your direct reporting line.
- Experience leading incident response and performance issue resolution.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience designing and operating common platforms (e.g., authentication, authorization, data linkage) for multi-product SaaS companies.
- Experience designing and implementing non-functional requirements (availability, audit logs, security, large data processing) for enterprise customers.
- Experience establishing technical selection guidelines and design review processes as sustainable mechanisms.
- Experience launching and operating Developer Experience (DevEx) or Platform Engineering organizations.
- Experience leading PoCs for new technologies and connecting results to product decisions.
- Experience initiating projects in uncertain environments with undefined roles and processes.
- Experience in business domains with high backward compatibility and data consistency requirements (e.g., HR, payroll, attendance).
- Experience with system migration/replacement under the premise of business continuity (e.g., ERP, core systems).
