KauChe is seeking an Engineering Manager for their Backend team to lead the infrastructure of a rapidly growing social EC app. The role involves scaling the organization, enhancing the EC platform, and advancing AI Native development processes.
Must-haves
- 3+ years of backend development and operations experience (excluding PoCs or internal services).
- Experience in tech leadership, team building, and process improvement.
- Backend development experience in at least one of the following languages: Go, Ruby, PHP, Java, Python, Typescript, Scala, Kotlin, Dart.
- Ability to drive software development with ownership.
- Advanced Japanese communication skills (JLPT N1 or higher).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in engineering management.
- Experience in architecture design and technology selection.
- Development and operational experience with Go and Google Cloud.
- Frontend or mobile app development experience, or PM experience.

Work style

Salary: JPY 9,600,000 - 15,600,000 per year. Full-time employee. Probationary period: 3 months (no change in conditions).
