Kauche is seeking its first dedicated Data Engineer to design and build the data infrastructure for their EC site, which has achieved significant growth and over 7 million cumulative downloads. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end data engineering lifecycle, from clarifying data utilization needs to pipeline design, construction, BI tool setup, and operations.
Must-haves
- Experience designing, building, maintaining, and operating data infrastructure.
- Data modeling experience and advanced SQL skills.
- Ability to define and implement non-functional requirements for data infrastructure.
- Experience with Dataform, dbt, BigQuery.
- Software development experience using Github, Terraform, CI/CD, and programming languages.
- Advanced Japanese communication skills (JLPT N1 or higher).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building and operating ML infrastructure.
- Advanced data analysis experience as an analyst.
- Software development experience as a backend engineer.
- Tech lead or engineering management experience.
