Seeking an Engineering Manager for the backend team to lead the social EC platform, Kauche. The team has achieved significant growth in API traffic and GMV, and is currently undergoing major updates to its platform and AI Native development.
Must-haves
- 3+ years of backend development and operations experience (excluding PoC or internal services).
- Experience in tech leadership, team building, and process improvement.
- Backend development experience in at least one of the following languages: Go, Ruby, PHP, Java, Python, Typescript, Scala, Kotlin, Dart.
- Ability to develop software with ownership.
- Japanese language proficiency: JLPT N1 or higher required for advanced communication.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in engineering management.
- Experience in architecture design and technology selection.
- Development and operations experience with Go and Google Cloud.
- Frontend or mobile app development experience, or PM experience.
