Seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to support cloud implementation planning, integration, and migration projects. You will be involved from the initial planning and requirements definition phases, focusing on upstream work. Projects are team-based with durations of six months to over a year.
Must-haves
- Experience with AWS implementation planning, system configuration review, security policy formulation, operational model definition, and migration plan development.
- Experience in basic design, system construction (servers, networks), and monitoring setup for AWS.
- Experience supporting system migration from on-premises to AWS, addressing infrastructure changes, migration methods, and design/operation challenges.
- Experience in planning and execution of unit tests/integration tests.
- Experience in operational design, maintenance, support, and enhancement tasks for cloud environments.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Azure/GCP.
- Experience with Kubernetes/Docker/Serverless.
- Experience with Ansible/Terraform/CloudFormation/Python/Jenkins.
- Experience with code-based technical support.
- Experience with virtualization and Windows/Linux server design, construction, and maintenance.
- Experience with Lift & Shift migration from on-premises to cloud (AWS/Azure).
