WiseVine is seeking a Lead Engineer (Backend) for a contract position to develop a new management SaaS product called "Build & Scrap (BnS)" for local governments. You will be involved from the architectural design phase, focusing on integrating the new product with the existing BnS system.
Must-haves
- 5+ years of backend development experience in Python, C++, Java, PHP, Rust, or Go
- Interest in complex domains
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in performance improvement, error handling, or transaction processing
- Experience with Clean Architecture / DDD
- Experience using Python + Django
- Experience as a Tech Lead or mentor
- Ability to design basic APIs and RDBs
- Development experience in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
