Our company is seeking a QA Engineer (Lead) to establish a QA organization from scratch for our growing "Jukusen" service and new ventures. You will lead the team, foster a quality culture, and transform the release process by collaborating with engineers and Product Managers.
Must-haves
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or in software testing.
- Experience leading test planning, design, and execution.
- Experience as a QA team lead or managing/developing team members.
- Experience collaborating with development teams, PdMs, and management on quality decisions.
- Deep understanding of QA processes in web service and application development.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience establishing a QA team (organization, recruitment, process).
- Experience with shift-left and risk-based testing strategies.
- Experience building quality management systems for large data/content services.
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress.
- Experience creating automation scripts with Python or JavaScript.
- Experience with SQL for data validation.
- Experience improving software development processes (Agile/Scrum/Kanban).

Work style
Primarily full remote work. Option to work at the Tokyo office.
Other notes
Annual Salary: Estimated \6,000,000 - \9,360,000. Includes fixed overtime allowance for 45 hours. Salary increase twice a year. Bonus generally none.
