Algoage is seeking a Lead Engineer to drive the launch of multiple AI products, including the SureSide series. The role involves leading complex system design and implementation, making technical decisions, and mentoring teams to foster AI-driven development.
Must-haves
- 5 years of experience in web application development (overall architecture design experience may waive this)
- Experience in both development and operations
- 2+ years of experience leading design, implementation, and technical decisions in a team of multiple developers
- Backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js (Go/Python experience with strong willingness to learn TypeScript is also welcome)
- Experience integrating AI tools like Cursor or Claude Code into the development process for code review and test generation
Nice-to-haves
- Experience operating LLM/RAG systems in production and designing evaluation metrics
- Experience designing and operating non-functional requirements (performance, reliability, security, monitoring) for large-scale traffic systems
- Experience building infrastructure with AWS and Terraform (IaC)
- Experience launching new products from scratch (0 to 1) or completing system replacements/re-architecting

Work style

Other notes
Annual salary: ¥7,000,000 - ¥12,000,000. Probationary period: 3 months (no change in conditions).
