As an R&D Engineer, you will develop technologies centered on machine learning and information retrieval to discover fraudulent companies and identify corporate connections, contributing to the efficiency and sophistication of corporate screening.
Must-haves
- Experience in developing new businesses from planning to PoC.
- Experience in discovering valuable features and insights from existing data and connecting them to feature development.
- Experience delivering analysis and development results directly to customers to solve their problems.
- Experience proposing and presenting analysis/technical content to customers and non-experts, leading decision-making and problem-solving.
- Practical experience with machine learning and data analysis using Python.
- Experience developing models using machine learning libraries like pandas (Polars), scikit-learn, PyTorch.
- Experience understanding statistical/machine learning algorithms and leading model design, evaluation, and improvement.
- Experience with classification, anomaly detection, time-series analysis, or graph analysis.
- Experience developing features/systems using LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI) or RAG.
- Experience designing and building AI agents (tool use, multi-step workflow automation).
- Team development experience using Git/GitHub and Docker.
- Experience developing/operating AI systems using AWS (ECS, S3, Lambda, Athena).
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge or work experience in financial crime countermeasures (AML, fraud detection, etc.).
- System development and implementation experience in customer environments.
- Technical lead or management experience in AI/data science teams.
- Experience in quality, schedule, and risk management of projects.
