Money Forward is seeking an Information Systems Engineer to streamline and advance employee ID management and SaaS operations. The role involves building systems to improve convenience and strengthen controls amidst rapid organizational growth and M&A activity.
Must-haves
- Business-level Japanese proficiency (fluent) for communication and documentation.
- English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 700 or above.
- Experience in implementing and operating external system integrations (APIs, webhooks, batch processing).
- Experience with reliable operational design fundamentals (retry, idempotency, monitoring, logging).
- Skills in data handling and formatting (SQL, CSV/JSON processing).
- Experience improving operations through small-scale in-house development (tools/scripts).
- Ability to understand business, organize requirements, and implement operations.
Nice-to-haves
- Basic understanding of Entra ID / SSO / Provisioning (SCIM).
- Basic knowledge of authentication and authorization.
- Experience with cloud / IaC / CI/CD (AWS, GitHub, Terraform).
- Front-end development experience.
- Experience building visualization platforms and dashboards.
- Experience using iPaaS/ETL tools.
- Experience in AI development or using AI tools.

Work style
Onsite in Tokyo (msb Tamachi, Tamachi Station Tower S 21F, 3-1-21 Shibaura, Minato-ku, Tokyo). Working hours are flexible based on a 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM schedule.
Other notes
Annual salary: ¥6,408,000 - ¥10,008,000. Includes fixed overtime and late-night work allowances for 45 and 40 hours respectively.
