TOKIUM is seeking an AI Platform Engineer (SRE) to build cloud infrastructure from scratch, driven by people and AI. This is a new role reporting directly to the CTO, focused on creating foundational systems for AI-driven accounting operations.
Must-haves
- 3+ years of experience in designing and operating large-scale web service infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience building and automating production infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, etc.)
- Practical experience using AI in development workflows (e.g., integrating coding agents)
- Hands-on experience with SRE methodologies (SLO/SLI design, postmortems, reliability improvement)
- Experience designing and operating IAM and network security
Nice-to-haves
- Understanding of backend/app development or close collaboration with development teams
- Knowledge of cloud security (CSPM, Zero Trust, SIEM, privileged access management)
- Experience with audits and controls (ISMS, ISO27001, SOC2)
- Experience designing operations for AI agents and inference platforms
- Chaos engineering / large-scale database tuning
- AWS/GCP security certifications

Work style
Hybrid, located in Tokyo (Chuo-ku, Ginza). Flexible working hours with core time from 9:00 to 15:00.
Other notes
Annual salary range: ¥8,000,000 - ¥12,000,000. Includes a 3-month probation period with no changes to working conditions.
