BALLAS is a startup redesigning real-world industries with an AI-native approach. They are building an "AI Native Industrial OS" to code industrial decision-making across design, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and construction. This Tech Lead role will drive technical decision-making for multiple products, including supply chain platforms, vertical SaaS, and AI agents.
Must-haves
- 5+ years of backend web application development experience (design to implementation)
- Experience in the full development lifecycle (requirements analysis, definition, design, implementation, operations)
- Experience in team development and improving team organizations
Nice-to-haves
- 2+ years of experience developing and operating a specific service/system
- Experience in 0->1 development or startup phase of new products
- Experience with multiple, diverse technology stacks and understanding their appropriate use
- Experience creating business flows and analyzing system requirements
- Familiarity with methods like BPMN, UML, or mind mapping for understanding domain knowledge

Annual salary: 8,000,000 JPY - 15,000,000 JPY. Initial 3-6 months employment as a contract employee.
