DeLMO is seeking a second Product Engineer with a marketing and business perspective to join their expansion phase. You will work alongside the lead engineer to strengthen "Product" and "Place" in the marketing strategy, focusing on solving customer challenges rather than just building features.
Must-haves
- Experience developing web applications and ability to work independently.
- Experience in continuous development using unit tests.
- Ability to work full-stack, including unglamorous tasks.
- Communication skills to discuss on equal footing with non-engineers.
- Decision-making ability to hypothesize and move forward in uncertain situations.
- Empathy with the company's Vision, Mission, and Values.
- Must be able to commute to the Tokyo office (Minato-ku) for in-person work, as remote-only applications are not accepted.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of computer science (IT major graduates).
- Experience in collaborative development using GitHub.
- Experience developing GraphQL APIs with Go (gqlgen) or Node.js (Apollo Server).
- Experience developing SPAs with Next.js (React.js) or similar frameworks.
- Experience in infrastructure operation/construction using Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience in data analysis using SQL with Redash or similar tools.
- Experience tuning search engines like Elasticsearch.
- Product thinking and ability to plan from a business/customer perspective using frameworks like 3C/4P.
- Experience driving projects with ownership in a small team.

Work style
Hybrid: 4 days remote possible, but requires attendance every Tuesday in Minato-ku, Tokyo. Not available for remote residents outside commuting distance.

Salary: 5,000,000 - 9,000,000 JPY. Full-time employee. Flextime available (Core time 11:00-15:00). Probationary period: 3 months.
