The Security Engineer will drive projects and develop/implement systems to improve organizational security, balancing security with convenience. You will focus on one of three areas: Security Governance, Corporate Security (SOC/CSIRT), or Product Security (SSDLC).
Must-haves
- Experience with web application development (any language) or infrastructure construction using IaC.
- Experience identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Business-level Japanese proficiency.
- At least 3 years of experience in one of the following: Governance (systematizing/automating business processes), Corporate (log analysis, forensics, detection rule creation in SOC/CSIRT), or Product (security engineer in a business company, system security analysis like vulnerability assessment/penetration testing).
Nice-to-haves
- Malware analysis or digital forensics experience.
- Experience operating large-scale log analysis platforms.
- DevOps/Platform Engineering knowledge.
- Project management experience with external vendors.
- Incident response experience.
- English conversation skills (business level).

Work style
Hybrid/Onsite in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, or Fukuoka. Flex-time with core hours 10:00-16:00.

Annual salary range: 11,520,000 JPY - 29,170,000 JPY. Bonus twice a year.
