ABEJA is seeking a Data Scientist to lead cutting-edge AI technology development and implementation. This role involves solving business and management challenges using data science, collaborating with business and engineering teams, and driving DX initiatives. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle from requirements definition to model operation and team leadership.
Must-haves
- Experience in machine learning modeling (including LLM, NLP, image processing, structured data)
- Experience leading projects from requirements definition to model design and evaluation
- Development experience using cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Team development experience using git/docker
- Experience in client negotiation and solution proposal (requirements definition)
- Project or team leadership experience (progress management, evaluation)
Nice-to-haves
- Deep experience with LLM (training, local LLM inference)
- Statistical modeling experience (statistical analysis, causal inference, mathematical optimization)
- MLOps environment construction/operation experience
- Experience with distributed processing (Spark)
- Experience in external activities (Kaggle, conference presentations, blog writing, paper publication)
- No resistance to everyday conversation/chat in English
