▼Job Description 【About This Position】 As a Product Manager at KiteRa, you will define "what to build" and "why to build it" based on user needs, business strategy, and technical feasibility, leading the creation of product value. You will be responsible for everything from requirements definition to roadmap planning and post-release KPI management, acting as a bridge between engineers, experts, and the business side. A unique aspect of our development environment is the direct involvement of qualified professionals, such as social insurance labor consultants (experts), in product development. We define "what to build" through discussions with these specialists who possess deep knowledge of laws and practical business operations. The depth of our domain directly translates into product value. KiteRa is now fully embarking on its evolution from a "Internal Regulations Management Tool" to a "GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Platform." This is a phase where you can shape not only the product's growth but also the PdM organization and development processes themselves. You will drive this project as a core member. 【Job Responsibilities】 You will be involved in all stages of product development, from discovering user needs to requirements definition and post-release improvements. Your responsibilities will include: ◆ Strategy & Roadmap * Formulating product strategy and creating mid-to-long-term roadmaps based on user needs and business strategy. * Developing prioritized action plans, including feature development, addressing technical debt, and bug fixes. ◆ Issue Discovery & Development Promotion * Discovering issues and validating hypotheses through user interviews and quantitative data analysis. * Organizing user stories, use cases, and requirements with engineers and experts. * Measuring post-release effectiveness and driving continuous improvement measures. ◆ Stakeholder Collaboration & Data Utilization * Analyzing customer issues and formulating improvement measures. * Monitoring product KPIs, identifying issues based on data, and formulating countermeasures. <Expected Outcomes> * Planning and releasing features based on user needs. * Improving product KPIs. * Driving development according to the roadmap. * Making decisions that balance user value and business growth. * Achieving consensus among stakeholders and clarifying requirements. * Verifying post-release effectiveness and continuous improvement. 【Background of Recruitment】 KiteRa is currently evolving into a GRC platform and expanding into multiple products. As our business grows, the scope of products and challenges we address continues to broaden, and we anticipate an increase in both the number of products and planning themes in the future. Previously, we refined our product within the clear domain of internal regulations management. However, in addition to evolving existing products, we are entering a phase of shaping new solutions that look beyond regulations. This has increased the need for Product Managers who can discern "which issues to solve, why, and in what order." We are currently in a stage of enhancing the quality of decision-making that balances user value and business growth as an organization. Furthermore, as we increase the number of products, we are also working on themes such as: * Discovering user needs and validating hypotheses. * Prioritizing to balance user value and business growth. * Data-driven decision-making and KPI improvement. * Defining the role of Product Managers and building development processes. We are looking for individuals who can lead product value creation by co-creating the role and methodologies of Product Management, rather than simply following established processes. 【KiteRa's Unique Strengths】 ◆ Deep Domain Specialization * We have focused on the highly specialized and critical domain of internal regulations and labor, refining our product to be deeply rooted in practical workflows. Our features and usability, tailored to real-world operations, are difficult for generic tools to replicate. ◆ Dual Focus: Businesses (KiteRa Biz) and Professionals (KiteRa Pro) * We support both companies that manage their internal regulations and social insurance labor consultants who assist their clients with regulation creation, with products tailored to each. These two groups are closely connected through retainer contracts, and this network that supports their relationship forms our business foundation. ◆ Management and Organization with Deep Domain Understanding * Our CEO is a qualified social insurance labor consultant, and qualified professionals (domain experts) like them are directly involved in product development. Decisions made with an understanding of legal nuances and practical operations contribute to the product's reliability. 【Advantage in the Age of AI】 We believe KiteRa's value will only increase with the advancement of AI. Regulations and labor are areas that demand extreme "accuracy," "legal basis," and "company-specific individuality," where errors are unacceptable. For example, even the same "Childcare and Family Care Leave Regulations" will have appropriate content that differs based on a company's employment structure, labor-management agreements, and past operational history. A single phrase can lead to legal violations or labor disputes. These areas are difficult to safely replace with generic AI alone, making reliable domain data and expert knowledge indispensable. KiteRa possesses the foundation for AI to excel: "Regulation Data × Legal Amendment Information × Company-Specific Operational Knowledge." For us, AI is not a threat but an enabler. By combining specialized knowledge and AI in the creation, checking, and revision proposals of regulations, we can enhance the product's value proposition itself. 【Future Business Outlook】 Many companies manage their internal regulations and work rules using paper or Word documents. When laws change, responsible individuals handle it manually, and old regulations go unnoticed and unaddressed. KiteRa has been tackling this challenge since 2019, pioneering the market for internal regulation DX through our SaaS product with over 4,000 implementations. With our two products, "KiteRa Biz" for companies and "KiteRa Pro" for social insurance labor consultants, we support both the "users" and "creators" of regulations. Backed by a cumulative ¥3 billion in funding, we are now entering a phase of further business expansion. Regulations are just the entry point. Beyond them lies a wide range of operations related to corporate compliance and risk management. Building upon the domain knowledge and customer base established through regulation management, we aim to evolve into a GRC platform that supports these areas with multiple products. This is the realization of our mission: "Creating a world where people can work with peace of mind." This phase, with an increasing number of products and domains, is a continuous opportunity to re-examine "what to build, for whom, and how." You can be involved as a core member from the conceptualization of new products that go beyond the entry point of regulations. ▼Required Skills/Experience We place importance on experience leading decision-making between users, business, and engineering to "build the right thing, the right way." * Practical experience as a Product Manager (PdM) or Product Owner (PO) in web services or SaaS. * Experience leading from feature planning to release by discerning the essence of customer feedback. * Experience discovering issues based on quantitative and qualitative data and making decisions while aligning with stakeholders. * Experience leading consensus building and requirements definition by organizing opinions from members with different roles (development, business, experts). ▼Preferred Skills/Experience * Experience in product strategy and roadmap development. * Experience in developing BtoB SaaS products. * Experience managing multiple products across different domains. * Basic knowledge of engineering. * Experience designing and conducting user interviews and user research. ▼Ideal Candidate Profile Product Managers at KiteRa define "what to build" and "why" based on user needs, valuing the balance between business and user value. Therefore, this environment is ideal for individuals with the following values and aspirations: ◆ Interest in Products and Users * Individuals who can think about "whose problem to solve and why" starting from user needs, and make decisions considering both user and business value. ◆ Sense of Ownership * Individuals who proactively identify fundamental issues and take responsibility for driving solutions, rather than simply implementing given requests. ◆ Orientation towards Healthy Team Discussion and Achievement * Individuals who can involve diverse stakeholders, respect different opinions, and foster better conclusions and results as a team. ◆ Attitude of Continuous Learning and Enjoying Change * Individuals who enjoy learning about highly specialized domains, new technologies, and methods (including AI), and can proactively challenge themselves in uncertain environments. ◆ Alignment with Mission * Individuals who resonate with KiteRa's mission, "Creating a world where people can work with peace of mind," and wish to tackle social issues through products. ▼Job Appeal You will gain experience in a highly specialized domain, engaging with both the business and the product. * Experience balancing business growth and user value creation in a product with over 4,000 customers. * Knowledge in highly specialized and socially significant domains such as internal regulations, labor, and compliance. * Experience in business expansion into the GRC domain and multi-product development. * An environment where you can participate in product strategy and critical decision-making, spanning management, business, and development. * Experience driving overall product development through close collaboration with engineers and domain experts. * Experience in shaping not only product growth but also the PdM organization and development processes. ▼Development Environment Tools for PdMs to utilize and the technology stack for collaboration with engineers.
