TRAILBLAZER, a digital consulting agency for the JR West Group, is seeking a Lead Designer to improve user experience consistency and quality across multiple expanding products like WESTER and tabiwa. You will lead UI design decisions, collaborate with business teams, PdMs, and engineers, and build and manage a design system for the entire ecosystem.
Must-haves
- Experience in UI design for digital products, including apps, within a company.
- Experience designing and operating design systems.
- Experience and knowledge of UI design in collaboration with engineers (implementation/design).
- Ability to translate business requirements into design.
- Experience driving design projects in collaboration with stakeholders and other designers.
- Business-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1 level).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with visual design and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Knowledge and practical experience in user research and UX design.
- Experience in creating and managing design guidelines and regulations.
- Experience directing external designers.
- Design experience considering marketing and brand perspectives.
Work style
Full remote possible. Location: Osaka, Tokyo, or other company-designated locations. Business trips may be required.

Annual salary: ¥9,000,000 - ¥15,000,000. Full flex-time with no core hours. 3-month probation period with same conditions. Online interviews.
