Marui Unite, the tech company of Marui Group, is seeking a Head of Product Security to establish and lead the product security function. This role will design and implement security strategies, processes, and organizations from scratch to balance development speed with safety, especially in high-reliability domains like credit cards.
Must-haves
- Practical experience in information security (vulnerability management, incident response)
- Technical understanding of web/mobile/API vulnerabilities (OWASP TOP10, OWASP ASVS, CWE, CVSS)
- Practical knowledge of PCI DSS or FISC
- 3+ years of team management experience (staffing, recruitment, evaluation, training, budget management)
- Experience promoting projects involving multiple departments, external parties, and group companies
- Experience reporting and proposing to management
- Business-level Japanese and ability to read English technical documents
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in zero-based organizational design (establishing PSIRT/CSIRT from scratch)
- Work experience in credit cards, payments, banking, or FinTech
- Experience or oversight of penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, or red team exercises
- Experience responding to cardholder data breaches or fraudulent use incidents
- Experience collaborating with group company CSIRTs/SOCs
- Experience in external community activities (JPCERT/CC, FIRST)
- Experience in operational design based on FIRST PSIRT Services Framework, ISO/IEC 30111, 29147
- Understanding of FISC security guidelines, Installment Sales Act, revised Personal Information Protection Act, EMV/3-D Secure related specifications
- Certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, GCIH, GCFR, Information Security Professional Engineer, PCI ISA)
