Lazuli is seeking a Data Solution Engineer to join their team. This role involves working closely with major clients to solve complex data challenges using their AI-powered SaaS product, 'Lazuli Product Data Platform'. You will be responsible for the entire data lifecycle, from identifying issues and requirements to implementation and ongoing support.
Must-haves
- Experience with SQL and Python
- Development/operations experience using cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure)
- 3+ years of experience building data infrastructure and pipelines, including requirements gathering, data modeling, implementation, and operations
- Experience managing projects involving requirements gathering, proposals, and specification adjustments with clients and other departments
- Ability to discuss, propose, and document in Japanese with clients
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with ELT/ETL and workflow management tools (dbt, Airflow, Fivetran)
- Business knowledge of product master data, EC, or PIM
- Experience handling non-functional requirements (security, access control, personal information protection, network constraints) in enterprise environments
- Experience developing systems using generative AI
- Experience as a data engineer in SI, contract development, or consulting firms, driving projects from requirements definition to operation

Salary: 8 to 15 million JPY (negotiable based on experience/ability). Full-time employee (contract work also possible). Stock options, side jobs allowed. Over 124 holidays annually.
