As a member of the Secure Cycle team, you will be involved in supporting development activities such as identifying issues, conducting Proofs of Concept (PoC), implementing proprietary AI, and evaluating/improving AI accuracy. This role involves planning AI utilization methods tailored to customer use cases and designing/implementing user interfaces and data integrations.
Must-haves
- 2+ years of development/implementation experience using Python
- Practical experience in data collection, analysis, and processing (data mining)
- Practical experience in building, training, and evaluating machine learning models
- Experience collaborating with clients/stakeholders to align requirements
- Experience in discovering issues and conducting hypothesis testing (PoC)
- Business-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1)
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge equivalent to a Data Scientist (statistical analysis, feature engineering, understanding of model evaluation metrics)
- Experience implementing applications/conversation designs using LLMs and generative AI
- Development/operation experience in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
- MLOps experience (continuous model evaluation, improvement, and deployment automation)
- Experience designing/implementing APIs and data infrastructure
- Experience promoting in-house AI development or AI adoption within a company

Work style
Onsite in Sapporo, Sendai, or Fukuoka. Working hours: 10:00-19:00 with a 60-minute break. Overtime may be required (equivalent to 40 hours/month). Indoor smoking is prohibited.
Other notes
Annual salary: ¥4,800,000 - ¥8,000,000. Bonus in June. Standard selection process includes document screening, 1st interview, coding test, and final interview, but may vary.
