Lead the technical development of a next-generation digital ID SaaS product. You will be responsible for final decision-making on technology selection, architecture, code review standards, and quality control, collaborating directly with business leaders.
Must-haves
- Experience in requirements definition, design, development, testing, and operation/maintenance of large-scale web services/business systems.
- Experience as a Tech Lead, including technology selection, design policy formulation, code review, and quality management.
- Backend development experience including API design, DB design, authorization/permission management, and log design.
- Non-functional design experience considering availability, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Experience in handling production operational issues, root cause analysis, and recurrence prevention.
- Communication skills to collaborate with customers, PdMs, QAs, SREs, etc., and materialize specifications.
Nice-to-haves
- Development experience in digital identity, ID management, or authentication/authorization domains.
- Design/implementation experience of authentication/authorization/provisioning platforms that integrate with external IdPs.
- Experience introducing systems used by multiple user attributes/organizations (universities, local governments, large corporations).
- Design experience for access control and function control based on user attributes and organizational structure.
- Design experience for multi-tenant SaaS, mobile apps + web management screens.
- Design experience for IoT systems.

Work style
Onsite in Tokyo (Minato-ku, Shiba 5-29-11 G-BASE Tamachi 15F). Flexible work arrangements available, including mid-day breaks. Average monthly overtime is 15-20 hours.

Salary: Monthly 750,000 JPY - 1,250,000 JPY (Annual 9,000,000 JPY - 15,000,000 JPY). Discretionary labor system. 6-month probation period.
