Join Photosynth as a Web Engineer (backend-focused, frontend capable) to develop the next-generation digital ID business, "Akerun Digital Identity Card," built on their cloud authentication platform. You will be central to the technical development of this multi-tenant SaaS, working closely with executives from requirements definition to operation.
Must-haves
- Experience in requirements definition, design, development, testing, and operation/maintenance of web services/business systems.
- Experience in continuous development using unit tests.
- Communication skills to collaborate with customers, Product Managers, QA, SRE, etc., to materialize specifications.
- Experience in handling production incidents, analyzing causes, and implementing preventive measures.
Nice-to-haves
- Development experience in digital identity, ID management, authentication/authorization domains.
- Design/implementation experience of authentication, authorization, and provisioning platforms integrating with external IdPs.
- Design experience with multi-tenant SaaS and mobile app + web management interfaces.
- Design experience with access control and feature control based on user attributes and organizational structures.
- Experience introducing systems used by multiple attribute users (universities, local governments, large corporations).
- Experience in IoT system design.
- Practical development experience using Ruby on Rails.

Work style
Onsite, Tokyo (Minato-ku, Shiba 5-29-11 G-BASE Tamachi 15F). Discretionary labor system (standard working hours 9:30-18:30). Overtime: average 15-20 hours/month.

Salary: Monthly ¥500,000 - ¥750,000 (Annual ¥6,000,000 - ¥9,000,000). Probationary period: 6 months. Company provides various benefits including commuting/housing allowances, remote work options, and study support.
