We are seeking a CTO candidate to lead technological management and rebuild our next-generation engineering organization. The goal is to make "kindness a social infrastructure" through our "lost and found cloud find" platform, which aims to create a world where lost items are always found.
Must-haves
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical strategies and gain consensus.
- Experience managing engineering teams of 10+ people (including contract employees).
- Experience designing and operating scalable system architectures for large traffic.
- Ability to build a self-sustaining organization by resolving knowledge silos.
- Experience building compliance and security systems (e.g., IPO readiness, ISMS acquisition).
- Must be willing to work from the Tokyo office to commit to business operations.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience migrating from serverless (Amplify/Lambda) to container infrastructure (ECS/Terraform).
- Experience implementing AI agents (LangChain) or transforming business processes with AI.
- Experience leading new B2B business launches from 0 to 1 and achieving PMF.
- Experience transforming to an Agile/Scrum development process.

Work style
The development department primarily operates fully remotely, but the CTO candidate is expected to work from the Tokyo office. The office will relocate to a new building near Kamiya-cho Station in March 2027. Flexible working hours with core hours from 10:00 to 15:00.
