Aterlink, a deep tech startup originating from Stanford University, is seeking a Hardware Product Manager to lead the entire lifecycle of hardware products, from concept to post-sale improvement. This role involves defining product strategy, making key decisions based on business and technical feasibility, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Must-haves
- Experience leading hardware product planning, development, or project management.
- Basic knowledge to drive development across electrical, mechanical, embedded software, and mass production domains.
- Experience making decisions by balancing performance, cost, quality, and schedule.
- Experience leading consensus building with engineers, sales, customers, and partner companies.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience designing or evaluating IoT products.
- Experience with analog circuit or wireless device electrical circuit design.
- Experience using circuit design tools (CR5000, OrCAD, etc.).
- Experience using circuit simulation tools (SPICE, etc.).
- Experience using 2D and 3D CAD (Solidworks, Fusion360, etc.).
- Experience in embedded software development (C/C++/Python/Go).
- Experience designing and mass-producing energy harvesting devices.
- Knowledge of laws and testing related to electrical equipment products, such as safety and environmental standards.

Work style

Salary: 8,000,000 - 12,000,000 JPY per year. Includes fixed overtime allowance for 45 hours. Employment type: Full-time. Probationary period: 3 months.
