Chura Data is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead projects involving data analysis, AI, and machine learning. You will be responsible for proposing solutions, planning analysis, and driving projects from PoC to implementation within a highly flat organizational structure.
Must-haves
- Experience solving business problems using statistical analysis, machine learning, and generative AI.
- Over 3 years of lead experience in small to medium-sized projects.
- Over 3 years of client work experience in a BtoB setting.
- Experience driving projects from PoC planning to implementation and operation.
- Experience creating proposals and reports for clients, and presenting them.
- Business-level Japanese communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience planning and leading analysis for large-scale projects (parallel multiple projects, managing teams of 5+).
- Lead experience in product development/PoC using Generative AI/LLM/RAG/AI Agents.
- Experience designing/building MLOps/LLMOps infrastructure.
- Deep practical experience in specific areas like time series, anomaly detection, causal inference, NLP, or image processing.
