LITALICO is seeking an Engineering Manager/Tech Lead to drive their ToC products, focusing on welfare and education. This role involves leading development teams and addressing multifaceted challenges in business, organization, engineering, and product development.
Must-haves
- 10+ years of server-side web application development experience (design to implementation) in cloud infrastructure environments (e.g., AWS).
- Hands-on experience addressing challenges in business, product, systems, and organization.
- 2+ years of experience leading a domain of 5+ people in either organizational management (development process/productivity/quality improvement, team operation, training/evaluation) or technical leadership (architecture/technology selection).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience defining domain goals/strategies/policies and taking responsibility for investment decisions (technology, personnel, budget).
- Experience committing to business KPIs/ROI and participating in business management as a partner to business leaders/PdMs.
- Experience managing multiple teams or large-scale systems (15+ people).
- Experience as a tech lead, architect, or expert in large-scale systems.
- Experience designing and promoting system/data integration and common platforms across multiple organizations/businesses.
- Experience converting Generative AI into product value or designing AI-driven development organizations.

Work style
Hybrid: Approximately 1-4 times per month in the Tokyo head office or designated locations (classrooms, business sites). Remote work from home or similar locations is expected. No satellite offices. No work from public spaces like cafes.

Salary: Monthly 625,999 JPY - 961,700 JPY (Annual 9,000,000 JPY - 15,000,000 JPY). Probationary period: 3 months (no changes in salary or conditions).
