LITALICO is seeking an Engineering Manager/Tech Lead to drive their ToC products, focusing on welfare and education. You will lead development teams, solve multifaceted challenges across business, organization, and engineering, and aim to maximize organizational results.
Must-haves
- 10+ years of server-side web application development experience (design to implementation) in cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS), any language.
- Hands-on experience addressing challenges in business, products, systems, and organizations.
- 2+ years of experience leading a domain of 5+ people in either organizational management (development process/productivity/quality improvement, team operation, training/evaluation) or technical leadership (architecture/technology selection).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience defining goals/strategies/policies for a domain and taking responsibility for investment decisions (technology, personnel, budget).
- Experience committing to business KPIs/ROI and participating as a business management member.
- Experience managing multiple teams or larger-scale (15+ people) organizations.
- Experience transforming Generative AI into product value or designing AI-driven development organizations.

Work style
Hybrid: Approximately 1-2 days/month in the Tokyo office (Nakameguro GT Tower) or designated locations. Remote work from home or similar locations is expected. No satellite offices. Public spaces like cafes are not permitted for work.
Other notes
Salary: Monthly base salary 625,000 - 961,700 JPY. Annual salary 9,000,000 - 15,000,000 JPY. Bonus: 1,500,000 - 3,460,000 JPY. Probationary period: 3 months with no changes to salary or conditions.
