LITALICO is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Data Management Department. This role will focus on consolidating and utilizing support data from over 400 locations nationwide to drive company-wide data-driven decision-making. You will play a central role in advancing the industry through data utilization, working with a unique dataset.
Must-haves
- Experience designing, building, and operating infrastructure using public clouds like AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience designing and developing data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for data analysis platforms such as DWH and data lakes.
- Experience developing batch processing, APIs, and tools using Python, SQL, etc. (approx. 3+ years).
- Experience in modern team development using GitHub, CI/CD environments (GitHub Actions, etc.), and Docker.
- Ability to communicate smoothly with business stakeholders (e.g., PdM) and other engineers, and experience driving requirements definition to implementation autonomously.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building and operating platforms using modern data stacks (MDS) such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or dbt.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform for automated infrastructure construction.
- Experience building MLOps or LLMOps platforms, or designing/developing products/PoCs utilizing generative AI/LLMs.
- Knowledge of data governance and security when handling sensitive data such as personal information.
- Experience migrating large datasets or tuning database performance.

Work style
Onsite at Tokyo Headquarters (Nakameguro GT Tower 15F). Remote work is defined as working from home or a similar location. No satellite offices or work from public spaces like cafes.

Salary: ¥8,500,000 - ¥14,000,000 per year (based on experience/skills). Employment Type: Full-time employee. Work System: Specialized professional discretionary labor system (or flex time).
