LayerX is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join their rapidly growing Bakuraku business unit, which offers an AI agent service to automate back-office operations. You will be an integral part of the development team, contributing to product quality from the early stages and shaping the future of QA in the age of AI agents.
Must-haves
- 3+ years of experience as a software QA engineer
- Experience working closely with development teams in an Agile environment
- Experience leading QA and testing efforts within a product development team
- Experience in improvement activities to enhance team productivity and product quality
- Communication skills to collaborate across different teams and roles
- Native-like fluency in Japanese
Nice-to-haves
- Experience leading AI adoption in QA (test automation, process efficiency)
- Experience selecting, designing, measuring, and reporting on quality metrics
- Experience coaching QA or fostering a quality culture within development teams
- Experience designing and implementing test automation architecture (unit, API, E2E)
- Experience operating test automation with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
- Experience with non-functional requirements testing (performance, security, usability)
