mikan is launching a full-scale web platform to complement its existing mobile app, aiming to meet user demand for learning on larger screens and PCs. As a Frontend Engineer, you will lead the development of this new web foundation from scratch, shaping new learning use cases and contributing to business growth through flexible payment infrastructure.
Must-haves
- Practical experience in web frontend development
- Experience developing web applications using TypeScript
- Experience developing rich user interfaces using React or equivalent
- Practical understanding of web standards (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, browser APIs)
- Interest and experience in UI implementation considering accessibility and user experience
- Experience implementing and improving frontends by understanding design intent
- Experience in team development using tools like GitHub
Nice-to-haves
- Experience launching new web services or expanding products to the web
- Experience developing with modern web application frameworks (Next.js, Remix, Nuxt, SvelteKit, Astro)
- Knowledge of web application configurations (SPA, MPA, SSR, SSG, CSR)
- Experience in technology selection, architecture design, and development strategy formulation
- Experience collaborating with designers and implementing while considering UI quality

Work style
You can live anywhere in Japan, but you must be a resident of Japan. As of 2026, we operate with full remote work. Full office attendance and partial attendance are also welcome. You may be required to come to the office for company-wide meetings or business reasons.

Annual salary ¥7,000,000 - ¥11,000,000. Includes a fixed amount of overtime pay.
