Openlogi is seeking a dedicated Backend Engineer to modernize their core systems. This role focuses on upgrading languages, frameworks, dependencies, and execution infrastructure to ensure the stability and scalability of their logistics platform.
Must-haves
- Experience leading major version upgrades of web application languages/frameworks from planning to production.
- Experience refactoring long-term maintained codebases while ensuring safety with tests and static analysis.
- Experience designing and improving CI/CD workflows.
- Experience updating dependency libraries and responding to CVEs.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with PHP/Laravel development and version upgrades.
- Experience setting up repository infrastructure like coding standards and linters/formatters.
- Experience designing, operating, and renovating job queue and asynchronous processing infrastructure.
- Experience migrating from virtual server environments (EC2) to container environments (ECS, Kubernetes).
- Experience designing zero-downtime deployments and deployment strategies (Blue-Green, Canary).
