Lead the development of machine learning algorithms to solve domain-specific problems for internal and client projects. You will be responsible for identifying and planning the resolution of technical challenges, contributing not only through development but also from a leadership position within the AI Development Department.
Must-haves
- Master's degree in science/engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of practical ML/deep learning experience
- Experience developing tech for real-world data (images, point clouds, audio)
- Ability to acquire cutting-edge tech in English
- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries/frameworks
- Proven experience leading multi-person projects
- Native-level Japanese proficiency
Nice-to-haves
- Ph.D. in science/engineering
- Experience applying ML to specific domains
- Experience in projects requiring external collaboration
- Project management experience
- Knowledge in image processing, computer vision, or computer graphics
- Experience in efficient experiment management using compute clusters
- Development experience on edge devices (e.g., Raspberry Pi)

Annual salary: ¥8,000,000 - ¥12,000,000. Probationary period: 6 months. Remote Work Allowance: ¥10,000/month. Housing Allowance: ¥75,000/month.
