Idein is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to develop new solutions in the radar domain by combining client expertise in radar systems with Idein's machine learning capabilities. This role involves a wide range of tasks from technical research and signal processing algorithm implementation to machine learning model design and evaluation, with the ultimate goal of deploying solutions on actual hardware.
Must-haves
- Master's degree in a science/engineering field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of practical experience applying machine learning (especially deep learning) to real-world data (e.g., images, point clouds, audio), including graduate research
- Ability to implement various deep learning and machine learning methods from scratch
- Native-level Japanese proficiency or JLPT N1 or higher
Nice-to-haves
- Experience/analysis in radio waves (millimeter, microwave) or various physical sensors
- Experience with data generation using physical simulations or Sim-to-Real knowledge/research
- PhD in a science/engineering field
- Experience applying machine learning techniques to specific domains
- Team development experience including code reviews and task management
- Experience with efficient experiment management using compute clusters
- Knowledge and experience in signal processing

Salary range: 7,000,000 - 9,340,000 JPY per year. Probationary period: 6 months.
