LocationMind is seeking a C1C Data Analysis Engineer to leverage rapidly growing geospatial data for various development projects. You will improve overall development quality and maintainability by refactoring existing code and maintaining design documents.
Must-haves
- Practical experience in analytical design for business issues, and advanced data extraction, processing, aggregation, and analysis using Python and SQL.
- Practical experience in building predictive models using machine learning (supervised/unsupervised learning) and statistical analysis.
- Experience processing large-scale raw data of moving objects and time series.
- Proficiency in Python (analysis libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and SQL.
- Experience with Linux and Bash.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of spatial data formats like GeoJSON, Shapefile, OSM, PBF.
- Experience with GIS tools (e.g., QGIS) or knowledge of spatial statistics.
- Experience working in cloud environments (especially AWS) including services like S3, EC2, EKS, EMR, AWS Glue, Athena, RDS.
- Experience with big data frameworks like Apache Spark.
- Understanding of data warehouse and lakehouse architectures.
- Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and spatial extensions (e.g., PostGIS, pgRouting).
- Experience building dashboards with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, QuickSight).
- Track record in data analysis competitions (e.g., Kaggle) or publications/presentations in related fields.

Salary is negotiable. Full-time employee position, but contract work is also negotiable. Full flex-time system. 126 annual holidays (2026). 10 days of paid leave granted on the first day of employment.
