Join a rapidly growing startup as the first engineer for a new business web application, 'Star Quest'. This product aims to become the next industry standard for security assessments in supply chains, leveraging AI and aligning with the new METI system. You will play a key role in building and scaling this product from the ground up.
Must-haves
- 5+ years of engineering experience (2 years server-side, 2 years front-end)
- 2 years of experience building/operating production cloud infrastructure with security requirements
- 2 years of development experience in a statically-typed language
- Experience with multi-tenant toB SaaS design and development
- Experience defining 'what' and 'why' to build (Agile, requirements definition, PdM/PjM)
- Experience with team development and decision-making (tech selection, dev/ops processes)
- Experience with AI coding
- Must reside in Japan for smooth operations
Nice-to-haves
- Experience launching new businesses/products (planning, requirements, development, tech selection)
- Next.js/React/TypeScript development experience
- AWS infrastructure building/operation experience
- Interest/experience in the security domain
- Experience building/scaling development organizations

Work style

Annual salary range: 6,500,000 JPY - 10,970,000 JPY. Stock options available.
