We are seeking a Backend Engineer to lead the refactoring and architectural overhaul of a large-scale Rails system with over 200 models. This role involves improving the foundation of our healthcare platform, which supports Japan's national health guidance services, and contributing to a society focused on preventative care.
Must-haves
- 3+ years of experience in web application design and development (language agnostic)
- 2+ years of experience with web application frameworks like Ruby on Rails (7.x or higher)
- Experience implementing tests with RSpec
- Experience using CI (GitHub Actions)
- Code review experience
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with git-flow
- Experience with PR-based development on GitHub
- API development experience using OpenAPI/Swagger
- Frontend development experience (Vue/Nuxt)
- Infrastructure construction/operation experience with AWS/Terraform
- Experience in upstream processes like requirements definition and specification creation
- Experience developing with Rails 8

Salary: Monthly 380,000 JPY ~ (Annual 5,000,000 - 10,000,000 JPY). Probationary period: 3 months (no change in conditions).
