A technology consulting firm established in June 2023 is seeking an Accounting professional to manage financial and accounting tasks. This role involves building an efficient financial management system and promoting operational efficiency using generative AI, with an eye towards an IPO. You will act as the representative's right-hand person, contributing to the growth of an "offensive back office."
Must-haves
- Approximately 3+ years of practical accounting experience in a business company (including monthly closings), or at an accounting/tax firm.
- High communication skills for internal and external consensus building.
- Ability to create accurate and prompt documents using Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace.
- Ability to respond promptly and understand intent in chat tools like Slack.
- Skill in setting up and operating online meetings using Zoom, Teams, etc.
- Self-management skills for multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Must work onsite (Tokyo) and wear suits.
Nice-to-haves
- Nissho Boki Level 2 or higher certification.
- Experience in a company preparing for IPO or in the IT/technology industry.
- Strong interest and experience in improving operational efficiency using generative AI.
- Business practical experience in English.
- Ability to proactively gather information in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to create, improve, and deliver output on short deadlines.
- Proactive collaboration in a text-centric environment.
- Desire to learn generative AI development (Python).
