As a Systems Integration Engineer for the "ZERO" small rocket development, you will act as a technical hub, optimizing the overall system and integrating interfaces between various development departments. Your role involves materializing uncertain technical specifications and ensuring consistency for the second and subsequent flights.
Must-haves
- Practical experience in product planning, assistant chief engineer, or project management in the automotive industry OR experience in design, system integration, and technical coordination overseeing multiple systems in heavy industry.
- Ability to verify technical specifications and layouts using 3D-CAD and simple analysis/calculation tools.
- Smooth communication skills to coordinate interests and achieve consensus with diverse internal and external engineers.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency.
- Must work onsite in Tokyo.
Nice-to-haves
- Development experience with complex intertwined systems (heat, fluid, structure, electricity, control) like automotive powertrains or structures.
- Experience in troubleshooting and defect analysis in prototyping, experimentation, and evaluation environments.
- Strong motivation to challenge new technologies in a startup environment.
Work style
Hybrid work is allowed. Flextime system (no core hours) with standard working hours of 8 hours per day. Location: Tokyo.

Projected Annual Salary: 7,000,000 JPY - 1,003,000,000 JPY. Includes a fixed overtime allowance for 45 hours. Salary increase: Once a year (March). Trial period: 3 months.
