Stockmark Inc. is developing cutting-edge Generative AI LLM technology, including their proprietary Japanese-language LLM, Stockmark-2. You will join the initial phase of AI agent development for the Aconnect product, focusing on Generative AI and collaborating with product teams to plan and develop features.
Must-haves
- 4+ years of practical experience in web application development
- Experience in development and operation within a cloud environment (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience in continuously engaging with a single service/product for over 1 year
- Ability to communicate smoothly in Japanese (Business conversation level or higher)
- Must be able to reside in Japan
Nice-to-haves
- Full-stack development experience (backend focus with frontend experience)
- Product development experience utilizing NLP, Machine Learning, or LLMs
- Development experience using search engines like OpenSearch
- Experience building and improving products in close collaboration with PdMs and Designers
- Proactive contribution through technical communities, presentations, or blog posts

Work style
Full remote work is possible within Japan. Residents in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama can choose between remote and office work. Residents outside these prefectures can commute to the office once a month. Japanese language proficiency required for technical discussions.
Other notes
Monthly salary: ¥500,000 - ¥834,000 (Estimated annual salary: ¥6,000,000 - ¥10,008,000). Flextime system with core hours 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Trial period of 3 months.
