Yayoi is seeking AI Product Engineers to drive AI Transformation (AX) by integrating cutting-edge AI and technology into their products. This role involves leading AI implementation from PoC to future product creation, working across business units to create new value.
Must-haves
- 2+ years of application development experience (web, mobile, or SI) with cloud applications.
- Experience in defining requirements and participating in new development phases.
- Experience implementing AI/LLM, including app development using LLMs as agents, system integration, or MCP usage.
- Experience managing engineering processes (design, development, testing, operation) and leading projects.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to executives and business stakeholders.
Nice-to-haves
- 3+ years of experience in planning, developing, or operating ML models.
- Experience building experimental environments and pipelines using AWS (SageMaker/Bedrock) or Google Cloud.
- Proven application of NLP and structured document analysis architectures (e.g., BERT/Encoder).
- Understanding and practical experience with MLOps (CI/CD, deployment pipelines, retraining design).

Work style
Hybrid: Remote work is possible with an expected one day per week in the Tokyo office (Akihabara UDX). Business trips may be required.
Other notes
Salary: Monthly 474,000 - 700,000 JPY. Annual salary 8,000,000 - 13,000,000 JPY. Bonus 3 times per year. Probation period of 3 months with no change in conditions.
